The last month countdown began this week and included impulsive snowman building with my housemates late one night, a lot of time spent at school organising the coming year and trying to finish off my final projects and a really great Friday skiing in Diedamskopf with Maddy.
That was definitely a highlight.
The days leading up to it featured a few big snow dumps resulting in good coverage despite the blue skies. We spent the whole day out and then exhausted, caught the bus home later that night. Really going to miss skiing in the Alps!!
I’d hoped to go again a bit after my handins on Monday but I broke my ankle this weekend so that threw a spanner in the works. Sucks a fair bit also isn’t the end of the world.
I’m unbelievably thankful to Lulu, my housemate from Kuwait/America, who dedicated a whole Saturday to taking me to the hospital, cooking quiche and looking after me. Very very lucky to have her. Also thankful to Maddy who dropped over unnecessary goodies to make me feel better ๐
Ah, Madz, this ankle thing – has to be genetic !! Great blogs ๐ Just all sounds the most fabulous, fun and fulfilling of times – even this week, with its broken ankle ending is not letting you down ๐ Love your way of being in the world. Take care of you and that ankle too, loving you, F&M xxx

Hope it doesn’t dampen the weeks you have left. Yr Dad will certainly be able to commiserate! Your photos continue to be astounding and beautiful. Much love from all of us (including a new highschooler and kindy kid!) S & J and xxxx
