This week snow started to fall in full force making for a very winter wonderland-esque atmosphere but also for a very bitchy cycling commute when you have one break and grip-free tyres. With each ride there is a real sense of adventure, which can’t help me make but think of this video hahaha.
Throughout the week, I spent a fair amount of time at school as semester is wrapping up. Unfortunately I didn’t spend that much time on my homework however but rather trying to sort out what post-February looks like for me. This is proving difficult particularly when your point of contact at your home university is adamant to ignore all emails. Anyway.
There were a couple of dinners out which were enjoyable, too. It was lovely to see Flo again one evening (an Austrian guy who lived with us at the student house). It was lovely to go to Frei and Mr Johns on Friday evening with Corina, Alex and Daniel. It was lovely to have Maddy over for dinner again Saturday night. It was lovely for my mum to give her Pilgrim’s muesli from Milton to bring back. It was lovely to have breakfast with the Australians on Sunday morning. It was lovely to bake bread with my housemates. It was lovely to get a kebab, climb up a local hill one night and listen to some music. (The latter actually seems a bit depressing typed out but I can assure you it was enjoyable.)
One month to the day I’m off, absolutely not ready but also absolutely excited to see me family and friends.
Sunset during class.
The girl at the gym had this!
I’ll learn one day.
