Deteriorating health meant that this week was very slow but also went by very quickly. I was meant to go on a roadtrip to Amsterdam (or maybe Budapest) with Dani and two other girls from Munich which I unfortunately had to pull out of. This was a shame but meant that I had a lot of spare time to lie in the spring sun.
Highlights included going to watch the indoor soccer, finding hammocks when going for a late night walk with Chloe and having a bonfire dinner in a somewhat dry river on Thursday night. We ate brie and cooked meat on sticks, whilst drinks were kept cool in the sparse water. We listened to good music and watched the sun go down.
Another fond memory – I’ve been spending a lot of time outside, occasionally by myself. This week I was doing some homework/doodling whilst sitting by the river near our house and listening to music when I felt a tap on my shoulder. Four Americans who work here as teaching aides were having a small picnic to farewell one of them. I was impulsively invited and we sat in the sunshine eating belated Easter chocolate and mountain cheese.
That was really it

Wowza! Is mountain cheese just cheese from cheese mountain?
